Happy New Year! I hope everyone enjoyed a relaxing break with family and friends. It was so great to see everyone this morning. Our first week back looks to be fairly quiet, but things will ramp up quickly as we motor through Term Two. I have highlighted a number of coming events in our January newsletter and on our website calendar.

And I haven't forgotten that I had pledged to run a personal marathon in recognition of reaching our Terry Fox fundraising goal of $2500.00. We actually shattered that goal, raising nearly $3200.00. I've worked out a route I'll call 'Around the 'Wack and Back'. I haven't settled on a date for my run yet, but the Terry Fox Foundation will leave our fundraising page open until Spring Break, so that total may rise still: https://schools.terryfox.ca/100280. As soon as I determine a date, I'll let you know. And if there's anyone that would like to join me in whole or in part, I'd love the company!
